IBC in Amsterdam was attended by many of the i3dpost team on 10-13 September. There were Stand demonstrations of Nuke6.1, 3D Camera Tracker & Ocula 2.1.

The first ever iawards took place on 16 November 2009 at the Science Museum in London. The awards, started by James Caan of Dragon's Den fame and Lord Drayson, Science and Innovation Minister, honour innovation in Science and Technology. Ocula won in the category of Entertainment & Media against stiff competition.
