User Group

For the first phase of the i3DPost project, The Foundry will set up and chair a consultative i3DPost User Group of world leading post houses and companies in the games industry.

The User Group will hold consultative workshops for two-way feedback and advice on user requirements and their evolution as the technologies for 3D postproduction technologies. It will ensure external user participation in trials and evaluations, and the applicability of solutions to other contexts.

The benefit to User Group companies is the opportunity to gain increased understanding and to help fine tune the 3D technology that emerges from i3DPost, and to build potential long-term associations with the research groups concerned.

The User Group will be an important dissemination channel and its members will be kept informed by mailings, invited to sessions and workshops, and showcases held as part of the Demonstration activity.
